Sunday we celebrated our Deacon’s 90th birthday at our Coffee Hour. Congratulations!
The Feast of the Nativity of Saint John the Baptist:
Saint John was the cousin of Our Lord and was the prophesied forerunner of the Messiah. “The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness prepare ye the way of the Lord, make straight in the desert a highway for Our God” (Isaiah 50). The Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday.
Vestry Meeting:
The next meeting of the Vestry of St. Peter’s Church will take place on next Sunday, June 27th after the 10:00 a.m. Mass.
Mark your calendars!
Our annual Santa Maria-style barbeque, which will be held on July 4th in place of the coffee hour and in honor of the Feast of St. Peter. This is a wonderful opportunity to bring guests to church where they will enjoy both food for the soul and the body.
